Total classic. Don't bother with the crass 2008 piece of shit. That movie totally ignored the original premise of this wonderful film. I don't exagerate when I say the remake is the worst film ever made, and everyone involved should be drowned in a cesspit.
I was looking for the 2008 version, and was excited to find both. I like both. As for Keanu's acting.. well, Robert DeNiro is always Robert DeNiro. Sean Penn is always Sean Penn. Helen Hunt is always Helen Hunt. Bruce Willis is always Bruce Willis. Mel Gibson is always Mel Gibson. Sandra Bullock is always Sandra Bullock. Need I go on? Lighten up. Axxo NEVER released this movie, and since that is the case all the people who have defended this purely because its "uploaded by axxo" are failers and ignorants. This is vintage sci-fi brilliance.
You know what it doesn't have? Jaw-dropping special effects, although these are pretty good for the time. You know what it does have, though? A wonderful story told with sharp dialogue, outstanding acting and a premise that fills you with wonder. And - final question - you know what? That's what counts, not a bunch of computer effects that'll still look dated in a decade or two.
